3 ¼ cup four
1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
1 ½ tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda
2 ⅛ cup Shortening
1 ¾ cup Brown Sugar
1 ½ cup Sugar
3 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
4 cups Oatmeal
2 ½ cups Raisins
Blend wet ingredients and beat until fluffy. Mix in dry ingredients. Fold in raisins and mix 1 minute. Roll dough into 4 dozen large balls. Place 6 balls on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Press down to ¼ inch thick and 3 inches wide. Bake 350° for 10 to 12 minutes or until brown.
